Marchionne to chair United Way fundraising campaign

Chrysler and Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne will serve as the campaign chairman for the United Way for Southeastern Michigans 2012 fundraising campaign.
As campaign chairman, Marchionne will lead the recruitment of leaders inside southeast Michigan to serve as members of his cabinet, which will perform to promote the growth and impact of the campaign among businesses and folks, the United Way stated right now.
As this years campaign chair, Sergio Marchionne brings high-caliber thought leadership to our organization at a vital time, Michael Brennan, president and CEO of the United Way for Southeastern Michigan said in a statement.
Marchionnes tenure as campaign chair began on Jan. 1 and concludes on Dec. 31, 2012.
