Chrysler has added a dollop of luxury onto its 300 sedan with the Luxury Series trim to generate its new flagship. It has now also assigned a value to the 2012 300 Luxury Series: a V-6-powered, rear-wheel drive version will set you back $40,970, such as a $825 destination charge. If the concept of a range-topping 300 sounds familiar, but the Luxury Series name doesn’t, you’re forgiven: the automobile was actually announced last spring at the New York automobile show, but dubbed the Executive Series.
